Dr. Swathy Lakshmi N, Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Analysis, Al Shifa College of Pharmacy. She has completed her graduation from St. Joseph’s College of Pharmacy, Cherthala, Alappuzha (Kerala University) in 2009. Completed Post graduation from K M College of Pharmacy, Madurai, Tamil Nadu (The Tamil Nadu Dr. M G R Medical University) in 2012 and pursued PhD from Shri JJT University, Rajasthan in 2026. She is a dedicated academician and researcher in Pharmaceutical Sciences with over 12.7 years of teaching experience in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Quality assurance and related disciplines.

Experienced in teaching postgraduate, under graduate, diploma students. Well versed in curriculum and laboratory manual development, student mentoring and guiding research projects in areas such as drug design, molecular docking studies & method validation. Actively involved in institutional accreditation and quality assurance activities, including NAAC-IQAC and KUHS-QAS committees.

Regularly participates and organizes seminars, symposiums, conferences and faculty development programs, including the AICTE-ATAL FDP on Emerging Technologies for Healthcare Applications. Committed to fostering academic excellence, innovative learning, impactful research, and industry-oriented pharmaceutical education.

AREA OF INTEREST: Method development and Validation, AQbD approaches, Drug discovery & Molecular docking studies
