International Online Webinar on “Science of Efficient Scientific Writing and Successful Communication in an Indexed Journal”

To assist efficient scientific writing and successful publication in an indexed journal among academicians, research scholars and students – Yukthi Scientific Club, Al Shifa College of Pharmacy, Perinthalmanna (ACP) organized an International Online Webinar on “Science of Efficient Scientific Writing and Successful Communication in an Indexed Journal” on 13.07.2022 (Wednesday) from 10 AM to 11.30 AM through Google Meet & Youtube Live. Programme poster with the registration form were released in advance and were circulated through various official social media platforms of ACP. The speaker for the Webinar was Prof. Balakumar Pitchai, Ph.D., – Consulting Editor, Pharmacological Research-Elsevier (Impact Factor: 10.334) & Professor of Pharmacology, Pannai College of Pharmacy, Dindigul, India. The programme started by 10 AM and the Principal delivered the “Welcome Speech” followed by the Introduction of the speaker. The session started by 10.30 AM and ended by 11.30 AM. After the session was over, the Post-test & Feedback link was mailed to all the registered participants. After 3 days, the link was closed and a list of qualified participants (Post-test score > 40%) was prepared. To deliver effective journal club presentations, Yukthi Scientific Club with Department of Pharmacy Practice, Al Shifa College of Pharmacy (ACP) organized a Lecture on “The Art of Journal Club Presentation with Critical Appraisal of the Article” on 13.09.2022 (Tuesday) from 9.30 AM to 11.00 AM for the PG students and faculties of ACP at the Seminar Hall. Programme poster were circulated through various official social media platforms of ACP. The speaker for the programme was Dr. Dilip.C – Professor & Head, Department of Pharmacy Practice, Al Shifa College of Pharmacy. The programme started by 9.30 AM and the welcome speech was given by Mr. Abdul Rasheed A R followed by the introduction of the speaker. The session started by 9.45 AM and ended by 11.00 AM. After the session was over, Principal sir felicitated Dr. Dilip.C with a memento and certificate. Feedback link was mailed and e-Certificates were issued to the participants and the coordinators.

The speaker for the programme was Dr. S.Jubie – Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty. The programme started by 2.30 PM and the welcome speech was given by Dr. Sanal Dev, Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, ACP followed by the introduction of the speaker and the session ended by 3.30 PM followed by Q/A session.
