M. Pharm Pharmacognosy

Pharmacognosy is a multidisciplinary area of research that involves the methodical examination of unprocessed pharmaceuticals derived from diverse natural sources. Natural medicine is the focus of this field, which also uses contemporary analytical methods to standardize and authenticate non-prescription medications. A large portion of the global population nearly 80% uses herbal and natural medicines to cure a variety of illnesses, preferring them because they have few or no adverse effects. Pharmacognosy plays a crucial role in pharmaceutical research. A crucial component of the field is the development of herbal medication formulations, nutraceuticals, and cosmeceuticals.
