NEETHU VARGHESE, Associate professor, joined Al Shifa College of Pharmacy on 26-01-2009 as Senior lecturer in the department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Ms. Neethu completed B. Pharm from JSS College of pharmacy, Mysore and M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Nitte Gulabi Shetty Memorial Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mangalore. . Ms. Neethu is pursuing her Part-time Ph.D. program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Chettinad Academy of Research and Education, Chennai. She has more than fifteen research and review articles in reputed journals and attended more than thirty national and international seminars. Ms.Neethu has attended Inter/Multidisciplinary Refresher course on Trends and Technologies in the development of Phytomedicinal products for 15 days, organized by UGC-HRDC and Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya Central University, Sagar. She also attended more than fifteen ATAL/STTP/FDP programmes and completed Swayam Online Course in Scientific Writing in Health Research by ICMR-National Institute of Epidemiology (October 2022).

AREA OF INTEREST: Phytochemical and Biological Evaluation of selected plants, In Silico Design, Synthesis, characterization and biological evaluation of synthetic derivatives, Apply Computer aided drug design for assessing the binding efficiency of phytoconstituents with specific receptors.
