Dr. S. Vimal Kumar, Professor of Pharmacology with 20 + years of experience specialized in Systemic Pharmacology, Molecular Pharmacology and Human Anatomy & Physiology, joined Al Shifa College of pharmacy on 2nd Aug 2023. Strong background in creating insightful research papers which increased University exposure and helped student’s learning development. Swiftly establishing strong relationships with pupils, increasing class engagement and enjoyment. He completed B.Pharm and M.Pharm from KM College of Pharmacy, Madurai and completed his Ph.D in Nov 2022 from Dayananda Sagar University, Bangalore. Also he has actively participated in various national and international seminars/ conferences/ workshops. He presented 3 poster presentation on national and international conferences.

AREA OF INTEREST: Pharmacological screening (Anticancer, Antidiabetic, Antihyperlipidemic, Antidepressant, Hepatoprotective & antilithiatic activity)
