Dr. Arun Rasheed was awarded Ph.D. from JNTU, Hyderabad and M.Pharm from Dr. Harisingh Gour University, MP. He is currently serving as Professor at Al Shifa College of Pharmacy, with 22 years of teaching and research experience. His primary research interests include Prodrug based drug design, Drug Targeting, Development of Herbal formulations and Standardization of AYUSH formulations. Dr. Arun has published more than 50 research papers in leading peer reviewed international journals with h-index 16& i10-Index 26 & authored two international books.

He is the reviewer and Advisory Board Members of various International Journals & Examination-ship with various Universities for UG, PG & PhDs. He has professional memberships in American Chemical Society, Fellow of Institution of Chemist, IPA, IPGA, KPGA IHPA and APTI. Arun has supervised more than 40 Masters Projects. Currently supervising 2 PhD’S & received research funds from various agencies

Accomplishments

AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS: Arun was honored with ‛ Best Pharmacy Teacher Award’ in 2020 by Kerala University of Health Sciences, in 2017 by Kerala Pharmacy Council, in 2022 IPGA Kerala & in 2023 by KPU. Based on his outstanding academic and research achievements, he was selected as Bentham Ambassador 2019-20 & 2022-2023 also recognized as Best Researcher award 2023 by Al Shifa College of pharmacy.
