"Global Academic, Industrial and Research Exchange Program" is a student exchange program organized by Al Shifa College of Pharmacy. A batch of 7 students from AIMST University, Malaysia are currently in India undergoing the program. The students spend 6 weeks here to study various aspects of pharmacy education in India and also have first-hand experience of the well-equipped laboratories, clinical exposure at KIMS Al Shifa Superspeciality Hospital, and Industrial exposure at various pharmaceutical industries in the region. As part of their industrial exposure visits, the students visited Vaidyarathnam Oushadhasala, Thrissur, Regional Drug Testing Laboratory, Thrissur Chetana Pharmaceuticals, Perinthalmanna and Labinduss Pharmaceuticals, Palakkad. These visits give a new perspective to the students on how industrial pharmacy and analytical laboratories work in India.
