Saranya S Mohan is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacognosy at Al Shifa College of Pharmacy, Perinthalmanna, Kerala, India. With 1.3 years of experience in pharmacy and 5 months of experience in academia and research, she holds a B.Pharm degree from Govt Medical College, Pariyaram, Kannur (dt) and M.Pharm in Pharmacognosy from Jamia Salafiya Pharmacy College, Malappuram.

Saranya S Mohan is trained in TLC Bioautography and its scope in the field of pharmaceutical science from Jamia Salafiya Pharmacy College, Malappuram, Kerala.

She teaches B.Pharm and D.Pharm students, covering subjects such as herbal drug technology, pharmacognosy and phytochemistry II and pharmacognosy. She actively participates in National Conferences and International seminars. Her research focuses on natural product-inspired drug discovery, standardization and quality control of Indian medicinal plants.

AREA OF INTEREST: Standardization and Quality Control of Herbals , Phytochemical analysis and the development of herbal formulations.
