Raihan A Abdu, Assistant Professor, joined Al Shifa College of Pharmacy on 17-01-2022 in the Department of Pharmaceutical chemistry. She completed B.Pharm from Al Shifa College of pharmacy, Perinthalmanna in 2015 and M.Pharm [Pharmaceutical chemistry] from Al Shifa College of pharmacy, Perinthalmannna in 2021.She handled various subjects such as Pharmaceutical Inorganic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Medicinal Chemistry for B.Pharm.  Ms.Raihan is interested in teaching and research and handling Software proficiency in various modules of SCHRODINGER (Protein preparation,LigPrep, Glide etc.) SwissDock, SeeSAR and ChemDraw. Presently Ms.Raihan is residing at Angadipuram, Malappuram district.

AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS:She Awarded Second prize in oral presentation in International Conference on Recent Trends in drug discovery and development, Maitreyi College, University of Delhi, New Delhi on the topic “Development and Therapeutic Implications of prodrugs of Mefenamic Acid and Etodolac with selected Antioxidant''. Ms.Raihan Qualified Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT- 2019).

PUBLICATIONS :Ms.Raihan published four international publications and attended more than ten national and international seminars.

FUNDED PROJECTS :Ms.Raihan carries profound research experience in the area of design and synthesis of prodrugs of antidiabetic activity.
