With nine years of teaching and research experience, Mr. Ajith Chandran is an enthusiastic and dynamic educator in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. He has a keen interest in Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics, and the development of pharmaceutical formulations.

As an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Al Shifa College of Pharmacy, Mr. Ajith Chandran combines a rich academic background with hands-on expertise in guiding students, curriculum development, and pioneering research in pharmaceutics. His technical proficiency includes a range of equipment, such as the Rimek Karnavathi Minipress – I, 10 station tablet punching machine, Kalweka multipurpose equipment, extruder spheronizer, freeze dryer, and ultra-sonic probe sonicator. He is well-versed in operating analytical instruments like the Shimadzu UV 1900i and Brookfield Viscometer DV-EE. He has successfully mentored M.Pharm and B.Pharm projects, actively participates in various national conferences, seminars, and symposiums, and is dedicated to staying at the forefront of the field.

AREA OF INTEREST: Biopharmaceutics & Pharmacokinetics, Novel Drug Delivery Systems.
