Dr. Sanal Dev, Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Al Shifa College of Pharmacy at Perinthalmanna, Kerala, India, brings 17 years of experience in teaching and research to his role. In 2015, he earned his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, with a specialization in designing anticancer agents targeting Topoisomerase II, from Poona College of Pharmacy, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune, India. Dr. Dev instructs both undergraduate and postgraduate students in Organic Chemistry and Computer-Aided Drug Design. Over 15 years, his research primarily focuses on developing novel chemical entities as anticancer agents and selective MAO-B inhibitors. His work is regularly published in esteemed, peer-reviewed journals, boasting over 45 research articles and one patent. Dr. Dev has supervised 13 M.Pharm students and is currently guiding a Ph.D. candidate. He has held affiliate membership in the Royal Society of Chemistry, London, since 2014, and served as a Member of the Board of Studies at KUHS from 2018 to 2021. Dr. Dev collaborates on research with various international universities, and he is frequently invited to share his expertise in Computer-Aided Drug Design and Development at national and international conferences.”
